My guilty pleasure is Persian food and I always order their green Dill bean rice, so I call it. Now this is definitely not authentic but I figured I would make a quick and easy version for those busy weeknights. This is perfect with grilled meat like kofta and eggplant dip.

Cool evenings call for a curry... Now I am not a pro with curries but this is delicious and I love the Maesri curry pastes. You could easily swap the fish for chicken, slow cooked beef...

500g snapper (or white fish of choice) - cut into large cubes
1 tin (114g) masaman curry paste (I love the maesri brand)

This is another winter warmer soup. I do make this is the slow cooker (surprise surprise) but it can easily be done on the stove top. I am all about wholesome delicious soups in winter.

Spiced Chicken Rice

Now this is my go to family pleaser that takes no time at all! This is a traditional middle eastern dish but simplified and essentially a cheats version. If there is an ingredient or two you do not like or would like to replace by all means do so. As for any traditional recipe everyone has their own way of making it but this is my easy version.
