I am obsessed with this seafood Japanese pancake so much so I had to remake it. Now now it is not authentic but I can assure you it is delicious.

1.5 cups Self raising flour
1 tbsp veggeta
3/4 cups white cabbage - finely shredded
6 spring onions - finely sliced - seperate white to green
3/4 cups water
300g marinara mix
Salt & ground white pepper
1 1/2 tbsp caster sugar
2 tbsp oyster sauce
4 tbsp tomato sauce
3 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
(combine in a bowl)
Other toppings: kewpie mayonnaise...
This is the BEST chicken and leek pie filling and you can't change my mind. I usually make this mix and fill it in individual pies BUT I thought why not make it that much easier and transform it into a one pan dish... This is how the Filo pie came to life.
This is another winter warmer soup. I do make this is the slow cooker (surprise surprise) but it can easily be done on the stove top. I am all about wholesome delicious soups in winter.
There is something deeply satisfying with making food from scratch. I’m not sure what it is exactly but it gives me a sense of wholeness, warmth and comfort. Like when you were a kid and you ask your mum or grandma for a particular dish that gave you the feels so much so you can still smell and feel it to this day when you think back on it.
Serve with some boiled rice and greek yoghurt combined with fresh or dried mint, lemon juice & salt.
