Are Diets Bullocks

Good old diets hey... I'm sure at some point of our lives we have experienced some sort of diet phase. One that will make us less bloated, more energised, assists us in eating more frequently, one that helps busy mums who often forget to eat anything other than left over cereal from our kids bowl, carb free, sugar free, dairy free...... I feel this list can go on and on and on and on......

This weeks episode I have my first ever guest Kim Caruk from @deliciously.keto and you're probably wondering, Marylin, you and a keto coach? really? BUT I assure you we share so many wonderful core values about food, mindful eating, cooking from scratch, making it easy and not overwhelming ourselves with labels, not focusing on all that we shouldn't eat but more what we can and ways to make a meal adaptable to our families whilst still being delicious.... Eating to make us feel good doesn't have to be hard, overwhelming or disgusting... We def discuss this point in particular!

I have decided to end each podcast episode that I have a guest on by asking them for a go to CBF crowd pleaser meal that they whip up! This week is all about the taco bowls. Delicious mince that has spices added to it like ground cumin, paprika, coriander, garlic, onion, oregano with optional chilli, give it a cook and pop into a bowl served with a bunch of sides that you and your family love. My choice is rice, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, shredded cheese, pickles, Spanish onion, capsicum, corn and big fat dollop of homemade guacamole. Easy, and everyone can choose what they love without complaining.
